The FIRST & ONLY COMPLETED in 1972 of the 3 Brambles red proposed FORD WORKS COMPETITION TEAM  XA GT FALCONS. XA 3 this was a hidden fact when Motor editor Mel Nichols & Uwe Kuessner were invited to Lot 6 for the WHEELS magazine August 1972 & info used in September 1972  Sports car World magazines XA-3 was later said to be at Calder Park Raceway at the time then at the Ford Proving Ground,

After the AXe fell on the Phase 4 program this car was converted to rally and after a falure by Lot 6 to correctly prepare the car which caused major engine failure.was XA 3 was given to Ford rally driver Bruce Hodgson to take to Griffith N.S.W. to rectify, Bruce.was given at least 2 engines one from 'The Company Car' LCP 402. Hoddo borrowed and returned the Lot 6 ute as he purchased the contents of that ute full of parts buried under Mustang brake shoes and drums which  included wide and close ratio gearboxes,diffs and  engine new engine prior to Lot 6 closing down  XA 3 was registered GDF 333 in NSW had the engine No V72913P from 'The Company Car' LCP 402 which was the First registered XA FALCON GTHO that engine at the time  had 4 bolt main caps according to Hoddo  that was a D block. Howard Marsden and Bill Santuccione are adement that like the Calypso Green H code GTHO. The PHASE 4 program used 2 bolt as found on the Calypso Green GT-HO 4 -to be revised
