 XA 5 PhotoS  

  Bill Santuccione  Former Repco engineer before he and the team  moved to Ford's special vehicles division at Lot 6 under Al Turner and later Howard Marsden. Bill was  in charge of the "Top secret" QC BLUEPRINT  mini production line at Geelong for the  GT-HO engine development programs, particularly the stillborn Phase IV.  Bill's brother John also worked there with a small team   As a test mule besides Bill's "COMPANY CAR"  the PEPPER RED  FALCON GT XA   said to be on of the first XA GT pilot run ( unconfirmed build number 1 or 8)

There was also an important XA-5 (our numbering) ULTRA WHITE XA FALCON  351 GT O4 an APRIL 1972 built XA 4 Door sedan   powered by the CAMS approved  Homologated specification officially stamped by CAMS in JUNE 1972 for the 200 identical required QUOTA note  Ford Special Vehicle race cars  had the option to  forward amendments to CAMS to upgrade if the HO  program went  ahead .  This ULTRA WHITE XA  FALCON GT LEA 078 was temporarily fitted with the PHASE IV gear as a private demonstrator only seen by Ford inner circle the CAMS SPEC was basic the first stage of the PHASE IV Homologation
