'160 MPH SUPERCARS SOON' Minister Horrified
There has been a lot of changes to the way car safety and motor racing unfolded ... It was destined to happen the fallout just accelerated the outcome a year earlier. The results had deprived Motor Racing especially. Ford enthusiasts of a Great Race with the XA HO 4 BATHURST In Fords defence the XA had so much progress in design, handling and safety on its predecessors the FIRST Australian FALCON.

Evan Green was he the fall guy for the NEW EDITOR ? Evan was the Motoring column editor and this was in our opinion confused with the label Editor of the SYDNEY Morning HERALD & SUNDAY Sun HERALD REPEAT Evan Green was the new Motoring column editor. IT IS THE EDITOR that decides the FRONT PAGE STORY not Evan Green.
Evan Green wrote an article for his newly appointed tenure as Editor for the Motoring column in the Sydney tabloid The Sun-Herald..New in the position Evan wanted an impressionable story,160 MPH SUPER CARS SOON captured the attention of the nation..Consider this Evan was not the Editor of the newspaper ONLY the motoring editor..It was not Evan who controlled and ran the Front page....If the story was only somewhere near page 19 instead of PAGE 1..It may have gone unnoticed by the nation if it remind on page19 ..Who was the Chief editor of The Sun-Herald for the 25th June 1972 edition...?
the Chief editor of the Sydney Morning Herald,
WAS responsible for Placing the STORY on the FRONT PAGE NOT the MOTORING EDITOR
