GT-HO RESEARCH

FORD FALCON GT  AN early 1972 MARCH BUILT  Yellowfire 4 door sedan with Black trim this is one of several recently found to have an X numbered engine  The first 200  units of the XA FORD FALCON GT were the first stage of the GT-HO PHASE 4 CAMS Homologation quota Once the planned GT-HO was fully developed and finalized and produced with the necessary racing improvements applied then the amendments would be made to the CAMS specification - This fine example X131 is undergoing some  restorations ensuring it is preserved for years to come 

 

Note: X numbered engines were only known to be found in FORD XY FALCON GT-HO PHASE 3 -Is there a GT-HO PHASE 3 out there with the number X131 ?
