The  Fred GIBSON car  XA 2 as revealed in this   photo of  XA 2  the Fred GIBSON car also in SUPERFORD No1 Winter edition 1987 shows XA 2 has no (Near) left side MIRROR

FACT Both XA 1 & XA 3 cars have a left side MIRROR

Fact 04 2 Wire CLIPS

The  Fred GIBSON car  XA 2 as revealed in the SPORTS CAR WORLD September 1972 issue the full Lot 6 photo of Howard Marsden leaning on XA 2  Fred GIBSON car also in SUPERFORD No1 Winter edition 1987 shows XA 2 has 2 wire retaining clips  on the right side boot hinge securing the wiring and compares it to the other HO 4

FACT Both XA 1 & XA 3 cars have a single wire clip

Fact 05  NO Mud PRINT  XA 2

The  Fred GIBSON car  XA 2 as named by Howard Marsden revealed in the SPORTS CAR WORLD September 1972 issue the full Lot 6 photo of Howard Marsden leaning on XA 2  Fred GIBSON car  that there was NO mud print on the rear drivers side quarter panel It arrived at Lot 6 first  and it compares  to the two other HO 4 as distinct identification

FACT Both XA 1 & XA 3 cars have a unique mud PRINT

The  Bruce Hodgson car is pictured on track without it's MIRROR to show what the difference is comparing  the Calder shakedown photo also added is an earlier photo with the MIRROR Photo Stills taken the from the above Paul Carhew video stopped at  at 2:14  The light direction is different so that has been added to  the photo as a close simulated match to the Calder park shake down That  Lot 6 1972  car appears to have black safety covers on the front head lights and diving lights the   photo sourced from  Rockwell Press FORD THE MUSCLE CAR CLASSICS 1969 -79 page 153  Originally in Australian Muscle Car Magazine issue 5 The Hodgson car left Lot 6 with a Left hand side MIRROR
