DID lot 6 Ford Special Vehicles have a HOIST?

Yes indeed they did , it was a single post hoist located between the Green Room and the first work bench where XA 1 was parked XA 1 later moved to XA 3 position when XA 3 was completed and left Lot 6 for testing at Calder Park after that with only XA 2 Gibson car and XA 1 Moffat car present Howard Marsden invited Sports World Car editor and photographer Uwe K to see how the GTHO PHASE IV the worlds fastest cars were being built The cars had to be road registered to qualify for CAMS Homologation that did not happen to XA 1 & XA 2 Bruce Hodgson road registered XA 3 in NSW late 1972 XA 3 was the only completed Brambles red GTHO PHASE IV in 1972 Plan of the hoist extract sketch by John Wynne
