Lot 6 Mahoneys Road Thomastown,even after Lot 6 closed journalist seem to get the location or rather the suburb wrong . Not that many photos were ever taken back then as cameras were not allowed in the workshop with the exception of Ford public relations shoots during Al Turners days the press and even Ford executives were not welcome or knew the location Ford PR photos were taken in June 1972 showing the 3 Brambles red XA cars shortly before that one occassion back in June 1972 that Howard Marsden invited Mel Nichols to Lot 6 to show how the GT HO PHASE of Allan Moffat & Fred Gibson were being built long before the closing days of lot 6 which some invited media came after the announcement that Ford would no longer support Motor Racing and Lot 6 would be closing
Any photos would be welcome it is common knowledge that Howard Marsden parted with the Ford public relations photos after lot 6 closed some of which have been well circulated
