Between January and April 1972
The required amount of 200 Ford XA FALCON GT's were documented for the CAMS HOMOLOGATION as the first stage for the PHASE 4 PROGRAM. The second stage with any new amendments would have been sent to CAMS by the required deadline to lodge with CAMS in time for the main endurance racing . The lessons learnt from past experience of last minute racing around to compile the 200 sold list to register almost didn't happen for the first FALCON GT-HO
Thus like the first 200 sold for the XA GT model the first 200 SOLD of new XW & XY GT models were registered with CAMS as the first stage with time to add amendments if required #GTHORESEARCH
